Aloha Kaiaulu

It's back! Child and Family Services' (CFS) annual Gala is a signature fundraising event that we are excited to be a part of. This year's theme is Hollywood with Aloha and we will be supporting the event by providing hairstyling, wig-styling, and makeup. Our team will be on location at the Hawai`i Convention Center on Saturday, October 14, 2023. If you'd like to learn more about the gala and CFS click here. It's college and career season! We're honored to be invited to Radford high school to share about careers in the beauty industry. A few of our Kumu will be chatting it up with freshmen to seniors, answering questions they have about what a day in the life is like behind the chair, and sharing about all of the different paths you can take once you become a licensed barber or beauty operator. Thank you Radford for the opportunity and we can't wait to meet all of you Rams!

We're headed to Lā`ie to provide hair cuts and mini manicures for the teacher and students at BYU-Hawai`i. It's hard to take time or even remember to take care of yourself as a teacher or student, so events like these allow us to take our services out of the salon and encourage people to take a moment for themselves.
